Vangkot Subramanian was born in 1960 in Madras, India. From his childhood he was a very intelligent boy . He always came first in the class and he never got bellow 100 % in math in his whole life. In 1976 he passed his high school with great 93% marks in school. After this he joined chiristian collage and finished his BSc Physics with 85% marks ie. 1st class 1st after that he did his masters in 1983 and completed his Phd. from California State University in Raman effect and joined the institute as a nuclear physicist  . In 1985 he married Priya Subramanian and started to live in California . In 1987 he got a daughter who became a doctor in the age of 22 ! Known as Dr. Anita Subramanian .
